I like the “real” tools added into Painter 12. They do a much better job of mimicking real media than the tools of previous versions. The landscape I made with a “real” acrylic brush and the two portraits I made with “real” soft conte.
My screen needs to be cleaned badly, and the glare from the giant windows behind me isn’t making it easy to see what I’m drawing. I’m not too concerned though, because minor inconveniences shouldn’t be a valid reason to not keep drawing things.
