I tried looking up what this bird is, but I’m not sure. I took the photo in Denver and the closest match I could find is a black throated sparrow, but none of the photos look like this one. – Update, it’s a House Sparrow as Myr said below.

Beautiful painting :-). He’s so wonderfully fluffy. I like you palette of white, black, greys and browns. I think your bird is a male House Sparrow.
Yeah that’s what it is. I didn’t even look at that one because it was in a different section of the list.
For this I used ivory and carbon blacks, titanium white, and burnt sienna. 🙂
