Tiny Giraffe Watercolor

Giraffe eating leaves
Watercolor on paper, 3.25″ x 4.5″

A small copy of a photo I took about a week ago. The paints used were ones that were already on the palette from mixing experiments. The giraffe and leaves are almost entirely transparent yellow oxide (an earthy yellow), rhodonite (a bright pink), indanthrone blue (deep violet blue), and sodalite (smokey cool black). Those are all from Daniel Smith. The background is some sort of grey with white gouache in it.
